§ 12.2.10. Rural land use advisory board.

  • The rural land use advisory board (RLUAB) is appointed by county commissioners. It is comprised of nine members who serve three-year staggered terms. The RLUAB will:

    (1)

    Make recommendations to the county commissioners regarding changes to the rural land use process;

    (2)

    Evaluate and provide written comments and recommendations regarding proposed preliminary rural land plans. RLUAB members should visit the landowner's property prior to making a recommendation; and

    (3)

    Promote the principles, purposes and objectives of the rural land use process.

    Note: Appointments to the RLUAB by the county commissioners will represent a cross section of the county.
