§ 12.2.9. Floodplain review board.

This board has the authority to review and determine the exact location of a zoning district boundary of the FW, FF and FH districts as they relate to any specific piece of property; review and make recommendations regarding floodplain special review applications; grant variances from the terms and conditions of the floodplain sections of this Code; review and grant variances to expand a nonconforming use or nonconforming structure in a floodplain; review and make determinations of interpretations of the floodplain sections of this Code; and to determine the suitability and advisability of alternate methods of construction in the FW, FF and FH overlay zoning districts.
