§ 10.12. MAINTENANCE

A.
All signs shall be maintained in good condition at all times. All signs shall be kept neatly finished and repaired, including all parts and supports. The building official may inspect any sign governed by this code and shall have authority to order the painting, repair, alteration or removal of a sign which constitutes a hazard to safety, health or public welfare by reason of inadequate maintenance, dilapidation or obsolescence.
B.
The building official shall have the power to order a change in the illumination of any sign that becomes a hazard or nuisance.
